Also just tried to launch SimCity again and it froze my Origin Program and it had to be force closed more and more issues and still no answers. Anti-Piracy tools suck and only make it harder for the honest gamers. No sort of error message or anything it appears to be loading for a second and then never launches. . . When I try to start it the Wine window comes up for a second then closes. I was actually having trouble just trying to start the installation a few days ago, as nothing would happen when I inserted Disc 1. Also, I am assuming you are trying to start the game with either the shortcut the game created or by SimCity 4. So my problem now is the graphics glitch, everything is jacked-up-looking when I play a city or region. That will start an explorer-like program. Occasionally, when I try to start the game using compatibility mode, this message instantly pops up: Troubleshooting does nothing.
Anyway, I just want to see if your game is even starring its process or if, for some reason, it's failing before it even gets launched.
