On W8 Pro I have to then log out of windows and relog in again for this setting to take effect. Problem is when I launch the game it appears in windowed mode in middle of the screen - fair enough ,I just check the fullscreen box and hit apply. I have disabled the touch screen on my Windows 8. You can try pressing alt-enter to exit fullscreen, then press it again to re-enter fullscreen. Neither did an Apple mouse when I went out to buy one. As soon as do this my mouse curser will shoot straight to the top left corner of the screen and if i try to move the curser it wll immediatly recoil straight back to the corner like its attached to a rubberband to that corner.
